Downtown Seattle Pictures

Two blog entries in one day? I'm on fire! Actually I just wanted to include some pictures from my day in Seattle. Enjoy!

Seattle Art Museum. Free on Thursdays. Thanks for the tip, Brooke! I love free.

I LOVED this exhibit because 1) I like Edward Hopper's style, 2) The title "Hopper's Women" made me think of my dear friend Teri (Hopper) Clemons and the women in her family, and 3) These paintings took place during a time when women were finally starting to show more independence (dining without male escorts for example). It made me happy to be an independent female traveler.

This wasn't one of my favorites, but isn't her hat fabulous? I swear, most of the women in the paintings had fabulous hats.

Took this picture from Google Images. I LOVE this painting. The woman is on a train, traveling by herself. Like me! I must get myself a fabulous hat.

An upcoming exhibit. I just thought the sign looked cool.

I have more pictures to post, but it's time for me to go. I'll reply to emails on Monday. Have a great weekend, everyone! Thanks for reading.

Sincerely,
Natalie the Nomad
